​We look forward to welcoming  you to Pub on the Shrubs, which is a community pub in the Shrublands residential area at the heart of Gorleston on Sea and Great Yarmouth.

             

Comprising a large bar, huge function room and a games room with darts, pool and card tables plus the benefit of a large car park and an outdoor space overlooking a children's play park with slide, climbing frames and other amenities.

We are a free-house serving brand name drinks including popular draught lagers like Coors, Madri, Fosters, Heineken Extra and Carling plus Guiness, John Smiths, Worthington, Aspall and Strongbow Dark Fruits cider. Bottled beer brands are available from the fridges.

You and your friends will be spoilt for choice.

We have over 40 spirits on optics with select red and cooled white wines plus Coca Cola brands on tap with cooled soft drinks in the fridges.

We re-introduced cask real ales from Adnams, Lacons and Sharps cooled from cask to tap continuously at 12C with valved venting control to optimise quality.
Now on the CAMRA real ale pub list, they hold meetings here too.

Most Fridays and Sundays sees live music in the main bar or on stage

with Saturday featuring Rock n Roll twice a month in the main function hall
Wednesday is our main Bingo night in the games room or function hall.

We sponsor dart team Gorleston in the Norfolk Superleague who play their matches on a Sunday evening during the autumn and winter months.

Community based clubs including East Norfolk Friendship Group and Young at Hearts use our function room for mid week events with bingo, music and other entertainments.
